The Pilot Scheme is to trial-run the implementation of VUV-ozone equipment at restaurants. The use of VUV-Ozone equipment has emerged as an environmentally friendly, effective and innovative solution to tackle the issue of cooking fume and odour pollution. By participating this scheme, we aim to demonstrate the effectiveness of the VUV-Ozone technology in the setting of commercial kitchen of restaurants and to serve as a pioneering scheme to educate F&B stakeholders to implement proper cooking fume and odour control procedures.

Application Process

1. Interested restaurants can complete the online registration survey

2. We will reach out to arrange a site visit for photo documentation and measurement of the existing stove and range hood as approval assessment

No document is needed for the application. All Q&A questions.

A pre-installation site survey will be conducted before the actual installation of the VUV-Ozone equipment. Following the installation, regular monitoring and inspections will also be performed.
